Revelstoke surrounded by the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains in southeastern British Columbia, Canada. We are on the Trans Canada Highway #1 only 641 kilometers (398 miles) east of Vancouver, BC and 415 kilometers (258 miles) west of Calgary, Alberta. Revelstoke is situated on the Columbia River only 4 km from the famous Revelstoke Dam and has stunning views of the glaciers on Mount Begbie and Mount McPherson. Only a few minutes away is Mount Mackenzie and the home of Revelstoke Mountain Resort. East of Revelstoke are the Selkirk Mountains with easy access to the Meadows In The Sky Parkway on Mount Revelstoke National Park and scenic Rogers Pass, both on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Revelstoke is also at the top end of the scenic Kootenay region of BC. On Highway 23 South heading down the Columbia River are the Arrow Lakes and the road to the Kootenays and on to the Canada-US border. There are two hotsprings south of Revelstoke and one east on Hwy #1.
West of the city is Eagle Pass through the Monashee Mountains and the route to Shuswap Lake and points west. You’ll want to stop at the famous Three Valley Lake Chateau and Historic Town and the Enchanted Forest and Sky Trek Adventure Park not far down the highway.
Revelstoke is served by GREYHOUND BUS LINES on a regularly scheduled basis and we are a short 2 ½ hour drive from Kelowna International Airport. (YLW) A seasonal airport shuttle service is available from the airport to make your travel plans easy.
